We could force him to rewrite the laws of physics to increase the speed of light so as to allow for human interstellar travel.
Who's with me?

Maybe the Shamans are right that the celestial bodies and the afterlife are connected.
Maybe the Egyptians were right that souls travel to Orion to become stars or to Draco to be consumed.

The speed of light will be increased in 2208 to roughly 5E17 km/s, to facilitate space travel.
edit - and we should beat up maxwell while were at it.

Even though the light moves relatively slowly there is an unbroken stream of energy between my eye and the star itself which means they are connected as one.
We don't need to lug our Earth suits around the galaxy...

He would be 129 years old....! If he still remembered what his theories were, I believe he would be too old and crotchity~ to change his mind about them....
I like your idea, but Einstein might need a little strong-arming to have him go along with it....

What's interesting about light is how it relates to itself.

Actually, you only need to approach the speed of light to effectively travel between the stars due to the phenomenon of time dilation, but thats more of a science and technology topic.

Tesla did the experiments and found out the real speed of light. Einstein was close, but was wrong.

Where on earth did you get that from? The speed of light was measured by Focault before either of those two were even born.

Actually it was Fizeau about 20 years before Foucault, in 1850. And both of them used purely mechanical apparatus. No electronics at all.
Very clever these guys.

Actually, the speed of light was measured using jupiter's moons in the late 17th century.
However it was first calculated/derived by maxwell.

'Were' is preferred and more traditional, but 'was' is more common and also an accepted variant.
