 The Honda van commercial

Anybody else seen it? Where they are re-introducing the odyssey and in the background is all psycedelic colors and at the end they have amanita muscaria mushrooms bobbing back and forth to the beat of that song "we want the funk, gotta have that funk"
Saw it tripping lightly a couple weeks back and made me laugh sooo friggin hard

haven't seen that one specficically, however, I have noticed a huge trend towards psychedlic backgrounds and things of the like in advertising over the past year or so. Also seems to be a large increase in commercials that just flat out don't make sense but make me laugh. Im guessing they are aiming at the young 18-30ish drinking and drug using demogaphic and the baby boomer generation, who have the most money to spend these days, while simultaneously not adversly effecting "straight" people's opinions of the prodcut...pretty smart advertising angle, hitting a good portion of potential consumers.

All the old ravers who did lots of acid/shrooms back in the mid 90s are growing up and getting jobs in advertising :P

haha ya when I seen that commercial I was so suprised. It looked really great too and had a good black light vibe.
go honda! they got my attention!

Yea man i love this commercial, i was cracking up the first time i saw it. The song is "Give up the Funk" by Parliament btw, awesome group. I also laughed really hard when i saw the comercial for wendy's shroom burger lol "topped with melted swiss, bacon, and SHROOOOOOOMS" haha mad funny

haha, i had never seen that part with the smoke. Maybe they edited that out for the final run. Prob though it was going to encourage liitle tikes to start smokin and weed is a gateway drug so ya no...lol
