 abort potency

How much more potent are aborts than fully matured mushrooms? I have 4.2 grams of aborts grown on brf/verm. cakes, the strain is B+. I was wondering how many grams I should eat to get to a trip equal to 3.5 gram trip from fully grown shrooms. I was also wondering if it's all right to eat the ones with black caps? Would I get sick from them? Any help is great.

I'm no expert but I thought aborts were identical potency by weight? Also if by black they're contaminated in any way (aborts contaminate a lot easier because they finish growing quicker) i'd highly recommend NOT eating them.

Thier potency is disputed but on my own personal expierence they are quite a bit more potent then mature fruits. Atleast on pf cakes.

in my experience there is no difference in potency between aborts and full grown mushies, you just have to eat more aborts.

from this site - ive always gathered that the aborts were in deed much stronger then the full shrooms.

Why not start a poll?
I don't know about aborts, but immature shrooms have been more potent in my experience.
I have dosed straight pins on 2 occasions. Both tryps were significantly short (~4 hours) and quite auditory (music and sounds were pretty much the center of my tryps. I watched a friend play The Prince of Persia on SNES for the majority of one tryp. I will never forget that experience).

You can eat the lil guys with the black caps.
Well, I'd draw a line on cap size. I wouldn't eat like a dime/nickel-sized black cap, but I'll eat 25 little tiny black-capped aborts.

there was a poll on this topic a while back... it was pretty inconclusive. In my experience, aborts are more potent, maybe not twice as potent, but 1-1.5g gives me a pretty decent trip. A little too tripped out to act anywhere close to normal at a house party, but still relaxing and mind opening enough to sociaize with other folks.

and aborts usually do give a slightly different sensation... not as clean or clear as mature shrooms

Aborts are deffinetly more potents! I ate a little over 2 grams of aborts last night and had a trip almost equal to 3.5 grams of fully grown shrooms. It was a great trip.
