I am very highly allergic to penicillin, with a drop or two cutting off my oxygen, and even after 14g of dried (hehehe) there were no negative reactions.
If you are allergic I would avoid any mushrooms that are not completely dry or that have a 'bad' smell

I am alergic to penicillin and have never had any adverse reactions to any psilocybin mushroom, nor amanita pantherinas.  I suggest avoiding the amanitas, yuck, weird, nothing like psilocybe/psilocin.  Just my personal experience with pantherina caps.  I know this went off on a tangent from the 'penicillin/reaction' question, but I thought I'd toss in the other as well.
