If you think tripping is a spiritual experience, you will be proven
correct. If you don't think tripping is a spiritual experience, you
will also, be proven correct.

Mushrooms allow you to break down the "mental
barriers" and reflect on and evaluate your life in an objective manner.
Paving the way for spiritual growth and evolution through willingness
to let go and learn.
Psychedelics enable you to experience a state which sought after through meditation: ego-loss.
This allows you to lose your ego and view
yourself in a totally objective way and analyze yourself, which can
help you grow in your individuality and spirituality.
Sprituality deals with that which is often
hard to describe and touches the soul. Mushrooms seem to bridge the gap
(and at some doses and mindsets unite) between sprituality (the soul) and the mind (the self),
which are normally separate for day to day operations. Mushrooms help
break down those barriers which are in the mind and interfere/block
with spritual revelations and personal growth. It's an extremely
personal and guarded subject for most, but mushrooms can help you
trigger religious switches (figuratively) in your mind and allow you to
explore the realm inside yourself whether you are ready or not. By FAR
the most difficult part of this religious journey, exploration, and
reinvention is intergrating what has been learned with your daily life
and truly living what you believe. It's one thing to believe that we
are all part of a greater whole; it's a whole different world to act
based on that and treat everyone as you would be treated.
There are more aspects to tripping that can be connected to spirituality such as hallucinations, megalomania, and euphoria.
