Good news on humidification! I'm using the newly revealed perlite technique to keep moisture levels up in my terrarium. I baked the perlite at 350 degrees for an hour, let it cool, and filled the bottom of the terrarium to a 1 and 1/2 inch depth with it. I added 3/4 inch of water to which had been added a healthy glug, glug, glug, glug of hydrogen peroxide. Using no other humidification hardware, the humidity levels in the terrarium stabilized at 98 percent! When the box is fanned out to remove CO2 , the lid is replaced and humidity levels rise back to 98 percent within half and hour or so. Perlite is without doubt a major breakthrough.
