This document explains how to calibrate a hygrometer so you will get accurate humidity readings in your terrarium.
Wrap your ANALOG hygrometer in a damp towel for an hour. Remove the towel and adjust so the hygrometer reads 99%.
Digital hygrometers are total crap for use above about 80% humidity, so they're worthless for a mushroom growing greenhouse or terrarium.
